Cleaner Seas Group have launched a world first microfibre recycling centre processing both domestic and commercial microfibre pollution into new materials. The Cleaner Seas Group innovation team have spent 18 months, alongside scientific and laboratory partners, developing a groundbreaking recycling process using hydrothermal carbonisation to process microfibre waste using a sophisticated water pressure system. This innovative process turns microfibre pollution into new materials with a host of properties that are highly valuable across a range of industries.
