Yes, the Indi can be installed under the sink or on top of the washing machine or countertop. Each washing machine has its own pumping height restrictions so you will need to adhere to this, but otherwise you can place it where you want.

Don’t panic! First you need to check what the error code means for your specific washing machine make and model. This information will be available in your washing machine manual or easily found online.

If the error does not relate to drainage then it is unlikely to be related to your Indi filter and you will need to follow the advice given in your washing machine manual for this fault.

If the error relates specifically to a drainage issue, then this could be attributed to the setup of your Indi filter. Again – don’t panic – this can usually be fixed with a few tweaks and our customer services team can support you: [email protected]

Yes! Indi works with all domestic washing machines.

Our Return & Recycle system means all cartridges are returned to use for recycling. For the moment you cannot put your used cartridge in your home recycling in the UK. Cleaner Seas provide a free collection service for full/used cartridges in the UK. Simply fill out a return form on our website HERE and we will arrange for a courier to come to your door and collect your cartridge. We ensure that all of the cartridges returned to us are recycled and refurbished as part of our circular system.

Here are 3 lights on the INDIKON Large & Marine filter lid:

TOP: Power light
This light will come on when the cartridge is first connected to the mains power supply. The filter will go through a series of checks, and this will be shown by 8 seconds of a flashing blue light. Once checks are complete the blue light will remain on, and the filter is ready to use.

MIDDLE: Cartridge light
This light will flash on and off when the current cartridge is full and ready to change.
ACTION: Contact us here to arrange a cartridge return and replacement.

BOTTOM: Fault light
This light will stay on if there is a fault with the filter i.e. a rare blockage or malfunction.
ACTION: If your fault light comes on please contact our customer services team immediately here.

In some rare instances the end of your wastewater pipe can be too rigid/hard and therefore not easy to connect to the Indi inlet valve. Typically a soak in warm water helps this issue: pop the hard end of the wastewater pipe in hot (not boiling) water for 5-10 minutes. This should soften and become more flexible allowing easy fitting t the Indi inlet valve.
